Paulus, Friedrich Wilhelm Ernst, 1890 - 1957, German Wehrmacht general during World War II who commanded the 6th Army. After the surrender of the German army at the end of the Battle of Stalingrad in 1943, he collaborate with the Soviets and became a member of the National Committee for a Free Germany (NKFD - a German anti-Nazi organization that operated in the Soviet Union during World War II) .
